Panko Breadcrumbs

by Leave a Comment

Panko BreadcrumbsThe next time you need breadcrumbs for a recipe try using Japanese Panko.  Panko is lighter and crispier than regular breadcrumbs and because of this it absorbs less oil during cooking. Try using it to thicken soups, as a topping on a gratin, in your favorite meatloaf recipe or in place of any recipe that calls for bread crumbs.
