Peeling a Tomato

by Leave a Comment

Peeled TomatoTo peel a tomato bring a large pot of water to a boil. There should be enough water for the tomato to be completely submerged. Using a sharp knife, cut an X in the top of the tomato, just deep enough to break the skin.  Drop the tomato into the boiling water and leave for 30 seconds, then remove and run under cold water. The skin will then easily peel off.
